St. John’s – NL ActivePure supplier, PFS Health Solutions, is excited to announce that their ActivePure purification systems, that kills an array of viruses and bacteria in the air and on surfaces, has been proven effective against the SARS-CoV-2 novel coronavirus, the virus responsible for COVID-19. The news comes after independent testing was completed by MRI Global, a world-renowned biosafety Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved laboratory.

MRI Global tested the effectiveness of the Aerus Hydroxyl Blaster with Active Pure Technology on live SARS-CoV-2 virus. The results demonstrated a 99.98% surface kill rate of the SARS-CoV-2 virus within 7 hours. Testing also indicated a greater than 93% surface kill rate in just three hours, and greater than 97% kill rate in six hours.
